Ministry of Finance and the World Bank have been jointly implementing the SFFS project since 2017 to contribute to the Government of Mongolia`s strategy and reforms to strengthen fiscal and financial stability. The project supports and introduces international practices and technological advancements, research-based policymaking tools, and capacity-building programs by providing essential technical assistance to macro-fiscal management, public financial management, and social protection sectors.

The Strengthening Fiscal and Financial Stability Project implemented by the Ministry of Finance of Mongolia in cooperation with the World Bank initiatives to digitalize Treasury payments and bring them to a new development stage. As part of this work, the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance has developed and launched a Learning management system.

With the support of the Strengthening Fiscal and Financial Stability Project, the Ministry of Finance had developed the "Procedure for disclosing a bid awarded a contract to other bidders "and secured approval by Decree No.132 of 2019 of the Minister of Finance. The e-procurement system /www.tender.gov.mn/ is being revamped in light of the implementation of the approved procedure.

The Ministry of Finance of Mongolia, with the technical assistance of the Strengthening Fiscal, and Financial Stability Project, has developed an Budget Financial Intermediation Web Service Platform system and started to improve the coherence of information to connect the DMFAS system to other systems of the Ministry of Finance.
