The Ministry of Finance Mongolia has developed and successfully launched the new version of the Glass Account Portal in 2023 within the framework of the Strengthening Governance in Mongolia Project jointly implemented by the EU and the World bank.

In preparation for the launching Beta version of the Glass Account portal, conducted 39 online training on registration and submission of reports to public organizations and a total of 8,527 specialists from General Governor, ministries and its affiliated organizations have been participated. Currently 4,897 public organizations and 7,433 users have registered to the new system.

The main purpose of the redevelopment is to optimize and automate the reporting process by integrating other financial systems into the GAP. Furthermore, system enables disclosure of data according to the open data standard which enables public to access, share and use better quality data.
