In line with the Government of Mongolia’s digital transformation policy and objectives, we are happy that the project of treasury payment and settlement electronic system to digitalize treasury payment and settlement of Ministry of Finance, has been implemented successfully and the first online transaction of the treasury  was made in  in Darkhan-Uul province.

The project team organized the system pilot test  in the five budget organizations of our province in May, 2022 and started implementation test of the system in production environment  on four budget organizations from October 25, 2022. The first transactions of Governor’s office and Physical training and sports department of Darkhan-Uul province was made electronically and transferred successfully on October 28, 2022. 

On November 18, 2022, training to introduce and implement the system, was organized for the specialists of Financing and Treasury department of the province and Finance department of Soums and heads and accountants of 107 budget organizations, and currently, 35 organizations made about 173 transactions electronically through the Portal system.

The specialists of the treasury and heads and accountants of budget organizations are satisfied that the system is easy to use and understand and provides the opportunity to work remotely. The transfer of the treasury payment to electronic  creates many advantages such as improving operational control, reducing human errors, manual work, workload, and costs and improving access to government services.
